Mobile Forklift Tire Press Technician

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Forklift Tire Press Technician. In this role, you will work both on and offsite in a company provided vehicle with a mobile press. Responsibilities may include installation of Industrial (Press-On/Resilient/Pneumatic), Construction (Radial/Solid), and OTR (Radial/Solid) tires.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record
  • Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • DOT Medical Certification (required as part of the application process)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling of customer equipment according to OSHA Standards
  • Mount/dismount various industrial tires, utilizing a Hydraulic 200 Ton Press Machine
  • Perform different tire repairs as needed
  • Local travel required to customer and company locations (no overnights)

Skills and Abilities:

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills, and high level of attention to detail
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies
  • Ability to work a rotating, on call schedule to include nights and weekend shifts
  • Pass background check and drug screen
