Job Summary: Snider Fleet Solutions is in search of tire technicians to repair and maintain tire and wheel related needs for heavy duty trucks and trailers in Troy, NC (other locations also hiring). The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, at least 2 years of tire experience (mount/dismount various sizes and types of tires - preferably commercial), a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Qualifications:

-Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record

-Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards

-Commercial TIA Certification (required after six months of employment)

- 2 years tire experience (strong preference for commercial and heavy duty tire)

Responsibilities:

- Mount, dismount, and repair various commercial tires
- Perform tire service on diesel and gasoline-powered trucks and equipment
- Monitor and maintain equipment, inventory levels, and workspace cleanliness
- Coordinate with Service Manager on job status and completion of paperwork

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and high level of attention to detail

This position will be based in a commercial/industrial tire and/or mechanical truck service center at one of our Snider Branches.
