Customer Relations Analyst

We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the “extra mile” philosophy to fulfill our Customer Relations Analyst role.

Provides financial, administrative, clerical, and customer support as part of the Customer Relations team. Maintains a high level of knowledge of all issues related to the rules, policies, and procedures relative to our billing processes, vendor interface processes, and customer service. Conducts all activities in a professional manner while working closely with the branch offices and the corporate office.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:

  • Ensure prompt and accurate processing of National Account purchase transactions
  • Work directly with National Account Tire vendors to research and resolve vendor billing disputes
  • Daily data entry for manual entry of credits
  • Daily handling of error rejects and making necessary corrections and adjustments
  • Daily interaction with administrative staff discussing different disputes regarding national accounts
  • Daily interaction with the sales team to ensure correct system processing
  • Daily interaction with accounting to discuss and receive general ledger codes
  • Daily interaction with inventory departments analyzing received inventory and examining to check for negative inventory for invoices and DRs that are being handled for customers
  • Skills requested are to include Excel, Word and Outlook, understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented and goal driven
  • Lead, Guide and Teach Administrative Policy and Procedure to company branches to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Work as a member of Collection Team to maintain established Days Sales Outstanding,
  • Review and implement new system processes and techniques as needed and work with the IT Team effectively to ensure success of automation projects

This position is based at the company’s corporate office. The majority of this position will consist of normal office tasks and interaction amongst peers and Snider branches. Overnight and out of market travel to other Snider locations and customers is less than 25%. When traveling to Snider locations, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts/equipment, fumes, or airborne particles, and the noise level is usually moderate to high.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education or Experience:

  • High school diploma required
  • College degree subjective
  • 2 years of similar experience a plus

Certificates and Licenses:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Invoicing
  • AS400 System
  • Analytical and logistical skills necessary
  • Basic knowledge of excel
  • Word and outlook experience would be ideal
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary
